H2 Green Steel has entered into a binding agreement with Purmo Group to deliver 140,000 tonnes of hydrogen-based green steel.
The delivery will take place between 2026 and 2033, and will support Purmo Group’s decarbonisation targets, with steel representing around 50% of all raw material purchases in the group.
The company will utilise H2 Green Steel’s materials as part of its ambitions to align its productions towards a 1.5°C future and carbon neutrality by 2025.
