Nestlé Purina PetCare has started using a Nikola hydrogen-powered truck for deliveries across California.
The pet food firm, in collaboration with The Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) and Nikola, initially used the Class 8 fuel cell truck transporting Purina products between the cities of Stockton, Maricopa and Modesta.
With a range of up to 500 miles, the truck will be used by KAG to deliver the products across the state, as Purina looks to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
