PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), PLN and ACWA Power Company have signed a joint agreement for developing integrated green hydrogen and green ammonia in Gresik, East Java.
The agreement was witnessed by the Deputy Minister of BUMN I Pahala Mansury and signed by Bakir Pasaman as the Main Director of Pupuk Indonesia, Darmawan Prasodjo as the Main Director of PLN, and Marco Arcelli as CEO of ACWA Power Company.
Mansury said that the green hydrogen and green ammonia collaboration was a follow-up to the clean energy development that had previously been carried out in the green industrial cluster in Aceh.
He said, “The Ministry of BUMN supports the cooperation in the development of green hydrogen and green ammonia carried out by Pupuk Indonesia, PLN, and ACWA Power Company. This collaboration is in the context of developing clean energy in East Java, especially in the Gresik Petrochemical Area.”
