The number of public hydrogen stations globally has quadrupled in the past five years and an additional 226 stations are currently in the planning stage.
That’s according to the 12th annual assessment of H2stations.org, an information service of Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik (LBST).
In 2019 alone, 83 hydrogen refuelling stations went into operation worldwide. 36 in Europe, 38 in Asia, nine in North America and one in the Arabian region, the assessment highlights.
