German hydrogen fuel cell producer Proton Motor Power Systems has received an order for a standalone fuel cell system based on its 50kW container solutions for deployment in Mallorca, Spain.
Set to be deployed at a hotel in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, as part of the Green Hysland project, the system ordered by a Spanish gas infrastructure supplier is expected to be delivered in the first half of 2024.
The Green Hydrogen project aims to establish a hydrogen ecosystem on the Spanish island of Mallorca, integration green hydrogen production with the delivery of the energy carrier to end-users such as tourism, transport, industry and energy sectors, as well as gas grid injection.
