Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH has successfully commissioned a fuel cell stack production facility in Bavaria, Germany, in response to the increased industry demand for hydrogen fuel cells.
At a formal ceremony last Friday, Minister Hubert Aiwanger, the Deputy Bavarian Prime Minister and Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy pressed the button to begin production of the fuel cell stack plant.
Commenting on the new facility, Aiwanger said, “Hydrogen plays a key role as future technology in coping with the shift in energy and mobility. Therefore, we founded the Centre Hydrogen.Bavaria (H2.B) in Nuremberg.”
