Magnom Properties has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Schneider Electric and H2-Enerprises to cooperate on a liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) system project.
Under the MoU, the three companies will collaborate on the ‘Forbes International Tower’ designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture (AS+GG Architecture), the first project in the world to run on a LOHC system.
The LOHC technology will allow hydrogen to be stored, transported and released in a safe and environmentally friendly way, tackling energy and power challenges of the tower’s operations, which is set to be in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
