Precision Micro has announced an expansion of its manufacturing capacity and capabilities following £1.8m ($2.2m) of investment to support its customers Net Zero aims.
The expansion will allow the company to supply larger, thicker etched sheets in higher volumes, to support hydrogen production and storage, hydrogen and electric-powered vehicles, and carbon capture.
At its Fort Dunlop site in Birmingham, UK, Precision Micro’s etch room will boast three new highly efficient etch machines alongside a bespoke semi-automated print frame, with plans to add a fourth etch machine to its new etch room in early 2024
