California’s expanding hydrogen station network is set to benefit from a new agreement which will see the prototype manufacturing of a new hydrogen production and dispending station.
PowerTap Hydrogen Capital and Capstone Green Energy today (Nov 29) signed a strategic manufacturing and licensing agreement for the manufacturing of PowerTap’s third generation production and dispensing station that will be developed in the sunshine state.
Focusing specifically on blue hydrogen, the station features a compact steam methane reformation (SMR) technology to create on-site hydrogen production to support fuel cell electric vehicles.
As a result of the agreement, Capstone Green Energy will manufacture the small footprint product for the fuelling stations.
