PowerHouse Energy Group has announced its plans to acquire Waste2Tricity, a UK-based energy-from-waste company.
The acquisition follows a collaboration agreement between Waste2Tricity, PowerHouse Energy and Peel Environmental to develop 11 waste plastic to hydrogen facilities across the UK.
The newly combined company will see each site generate substantial licencing and engineering services revenue for the plastic parks and predicts the that the UK can support between 100 and 200 sites nationwide.
“We welcome this acquisition by PowerHouse Energy, with whom we have worked closely over a number of years,” said John Hall, Managing Director of Waste2Tricity.
