A newly-formed partnership is looking to develop a hydrogen aviation hub in Singapore.
Industrial gas giant Linde today (Feb 15) said it has joined forces with Airbus, Changi Airport Group (CAG) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to explore the country’s potential for a hydrogen hub to support zero-emissions aircraft.
As of November 2021, Airbus and CAAS already have a withstanding agreement to study the demand and production supply of alternative aviation fuels, such as hydrogen, and explore how these could decarbonise the region whilst also studying the implementation of hydrogen into airport infrastructures.
