Port of Rotterdam, RRP to study Delta Corridor hydrogen pipelines for German and Dutch industry

The Port of Rotterdam Authority and Rotterdam Rijn Pijpleiding Maatschappij (RRP) will start a joint feasibility study to develop pipelines capable of carrying various product streams, such as hydrogen.

This pipeline is expected to be developed between Rotterdam, the Chemelot (Limburg) industrial estate and North Rhine-Westphalia.

This pipeline bundle could help strengthen the port of Rotterdam’s strategic position in Northwest Europe, offering Chemelot further sustainability opportunities and could also potentially develop into an important supply route for German industry.
