The Port of Los Angeles, US, is set to gain a boost to its hydrogen fuel cell capabilities with Mitsui E&S Machinery and PACECO partnering for a demonstration project of a commercially feasible hydrogen fuel model at the port.
To achieve this, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organisation (NEDO) will support the overall project development with funding for a hydrogen supply chain from local production to its consumption at the port.
