Hydrogen production, mobile energy distribution and related technologies are at the heart of a long-term supply and logistics agreement between Plug Power and Certarus that will focus on the North American market.
Formalising the agreement today (Dec 14), Plug Power said it will provide Certarus with up to ten tonnes of green hydrogen annually from its North American hydrogen production network from Q1 2022.
After delivery, Certarus will utilise its integrated logistics platform and fleet of compressed gas delivery trailers to safely move the hydrogen directly from production locations to both parties are other end-users.
Andy Marsh, CEO of Plug Power, said, “We are building out a green hydrogen ecosystem, with the goal to deliver 500 tonnes per day of green hydrogen by 2025 and 1,000 tonnes per day by 2028.
