Further strengthening its partnership with the American multinational retail cooperation, Plug Power today (15th Dec) said it will continue to supply Walmart with sustainable solutions for use in its eCommerce network.
Since 2010, the New York-based fuel hydrogen solution specialist has supplied Walmart with its GenKey hydrogen and fuel cell solutions for its material handling fleet, and today supports more than 9,500 GenDrive fuel cell-powered vehicles used at 37 Walmart distribution centres across North America.
In August 2020 Plug Power began its expansion of hydrogen fuel cell solutions into the Walmart’s eCommernce network, with the first deployments in August 2020.
