Plastic Omnium, a French automotive supplier, has received an order from a German manufacturer for the development of 350-bar hydrogen tanks.
The contract signed for bus equipment is currently the largest project in Europe for this type of vehicle.
In parallel to the awarded contract, Plastic Omnium has also received its first certification for a 700-bar hydrogen storage tank for passenger cars. The R134 certification is an international standard that ensures strict specifications of high-pressure hydrogen tanks regulations are met.
