A collaboration between Strohm and Lhyfe is aiming to launch the ‘first floating wind turbine with an integrated hydrogen production system’ worth approximately €60m ($56.8m).
Lhyfe’s Nerehyd solution, unveiled today (May 10), worth approximately €60m ($56.8m), incorporates a hydrogen production facility on a floating platform, connected to a wind turbine. The production of the first prototype is planned for 2025.
A signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Strohm and Lhyfe, will see the two companies working on solutions for hydrogen transport onshore and offshore.
