Pennsylvania Governor, Tom Wolf announced today (May 16), that he intends to streamline the decarbonisation of the industrial sector in the state with an emphasis on hydrogen.
It hopes to ensure that the US Department of Energy invests in the state for a Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub, funded by the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).
The Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub initiative is part of the Biden Administration’s effort to create energy jobs by expanding the use of clean hydrogen, while aiding its commitment to significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050.
