A new partnership has come together to develop and deploy hydrogen infrastructure, with the first installation planned for New York.
Standard Hydrogen Corporation (SHC) and National Grid yesterday (11th March) said they had joined forces on the effort that will utilise SHC’s Energy Transfer System™ (ETS).
The deployment of the ETS will mark the first ever deployment of the technology. A multi-use, hydrogen-based energy storage facility, ETC will execute the SHC multi-revenue model, overcoming high capital costs of hydrogen infrastructure to accelerate its deployment.
Sharing details of the plans, the companies said the station will be designed, built and operated by SHC with services delivered to National Grid and its customers.
