Osnabrück Police Force in Germany has added a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle to its vehicle fleet in an effort to be more environmentally friendly.
The new vehicle will be tested in everyday use in the field and on patrol service as part of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.
“I am pleased that we have managed to test fuel cell technology with us in the management in Osnabrück,” said Michael Maßmann, Police President.
“I firmly believe that mobility is in the police will change fundamentally in the next few years – there is no way around it.”
