Virtually anywhere in the world that you may call home, the impacts of climate change are impossible to ignore. As wildfires and heat waves wreak havoc in Europe, Africa, the US, and Asia, the urgency to put all solutions to work to meet the climate crisis has never been clearer.

Governments across the globe are working to adopt aggressive Net Zero goals and implement policies to incentivise and accelerate the adoption of clean energy solutions. Over the past decade, we have seen these efforts foster the development and commercial deployment of numerous low- and zero-carbon solutions, including solar, wind, and electric vehicles that can help decarbonise power generation and transportation.

While these will all play a key role in a Net Zero future globally, additional solutions are needed to deliver reliable clean energy at the scale necessary to decarbonise our global energy system and prevent the worst impacts of climate change. These new solutions are key to meeting rising global energy demand and to addressing emissions from hard-to-abate sectors such as aviation, marine shipping, steel and cement production, and industrial heating.
