One million milestone hit by Wrightbus

Zero-emission hydrogen double decker buses by Wrightbus have hit one million miles after they first entered passenger service, last year.

Wrightbus announced today (May 6) that the milestone achieved by its Hydroliner fleet has prevented 1,700 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from entering the atmosphere, compared to the journeys made by an ‘equivalent diesel bus’.

The company also said that the reduction in emissions had the same impact as taking nearly 400 cars off the roads for an entire year.
