Oman has chalked up $38bn in green hydrogen investments this year with its renewables capacity rising to 22.5GW.
Following yesterday’s agreement announced by hydrom, a legacy initiative in the Dhorfar region, project development deals are now up to six, totalling 925ktpa of hydrogen production.
The figures were announced during a comprehensive market focus, on the second morning of the Oman Green Hydrogen Summit in Muscat.
Delegates at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat heard how Oman is on track to meet its 1Mtpa green hydrogen target by 2030.
