Octopus Hydrogen has secured UK Government funding through the Net Zero Hydrogen Fund (NZHF) to develop its 15MW electrolysis project in Scotland.
The company has said, the funding has unlocked the final investment decision (FID) for what is its largest electrolytic green hydrogen project to date.
At a site in Lanarkshire, Scotland, Octopus intends to deploy 15MW of electrolysis, directly connected to an onshore wind farm, which it says is one of the first projects of its kind to be co-located with renewable generation at this scale in the UK.
