Warwickshire’s MIRA Technology Park: Home to 40 of the world’s leading automotive innovators, and soon to be home to a green refuelling forecourt, comprised of hydrogen fuelling and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
As many would agree when it comes to the UK, the lack of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure perhaps has the largest part to play when it comes to the delayed roll-out of fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) on our roads.
Octopus Hydrogen, along with its project partners Octopus Renewables and MIRA Technology Park, now want to help bridge the infrastructure gap with the green refuelling forecourt development as it look to support a green mobility revolution.
Speaking to H2 View about the project, William Rowe, CEO of Octopus Hydrogen, said, “To decarbonise transport, we need battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. This new development show how both solutions can co-existing and play complimentary roles.
