OCI Global will offtake green hydrogen from New Fortress Energy’s (NFE) large-scale project in Texas, US, for the production of around 160,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year.
The green hydrogen produced by NFE’s hydrogen business ZeroParks, will come from a 100MW PEM electrolyser system supplied by Electric Hydrogen Co. (EH2), and then delivered to OCI’s facilities in Beaumont, Texas, where it will be converted into green ammonia.
