Hydrogen-powered buses could soon be the norm in the Oceania region, with Foton Mobility and BOC confirming plans to develop a hydrogen bus sector in Australia and New Zealand.
Having inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday (Jan 11), the duo said they want to develop operational and commercial hydrogen bus models across the entire supply chain.
For this, hydrogen production, storage and refuelling will be in focus, as well as various leasing arrangements and maintenance which may be required by customers.
