Carlton Power has announced three of its green hydrogen projects have been shortlisted to receive financial support via the UK Government’s Net Zero Hydrogen Fund (NZHF).
The three projects – located at Trafford in Greater Manchester, Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria and Langage near Plymouth, Devon – also entered into the UK Government’s Hydrogen Business Model (HBM).
All three schemes represent £200m ($247m) of direct investment and expect to replace 215GWh of natural gas and reduce carbon emissions by 40,000 tonnes per annum from 2025.
