NW Natural and Hycamite TCD Technologies have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to explore applications for novel methane pyrolysis technology to produce and distribute clean hydrogen.
Based in Kokkola, Finland, Hycamite develops novel methane-splitting technology to deliver turquoise hydrogen to supplement or replace natural gas usage.
As Oregon’s, US, largest gas utility, NW Natural’s will utilise its service territory which includes large natural gas customers that could develop facilities to use Hycamite’s technology.
