NTPC to test hydrogen blending with natural gas in Indian city gas network

Indian utility group NTPC has invited a global expression of interest for a pilot project that aims to blend hydrogen with natural gas for distribution in a city gas network.

The pilot project for hydrogen blending with natural gas will be a first of its kind for India, NTPC said, and will provide a viable alternative to reduce carbon emissions in India’s natural gas grid.
