The National Organisation Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NOW GmbH) has appointed Kurt-Christoph von Knobelsdorff as its Managing Director.
Economist Knobelsdorff has held various leading positions in the Berlin Senate and the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Economics following previous professional posts at the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK – Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag) and the Association of Family Entrepreneurs (Verband der Familienunternehmer).
Most recently, he was head of department in the Ministry of Economics and Energy of the State of Brandenburg.
Since 2008, NOW GmbH has been driving the development of clean, sustainable technologies for transport and energy forward, and in this context also coordinates the funding programmes of the Federal Ministry of Transport.
