A Norwegian consortium working to produce hydrogen from renewable energy for the maritime sector and develop a national hydrogen hub in Moskøen, Norway has received a NOK 1m ($115,000) boost.
Gen2 Energy is one part of the consortium which will now enter its pilot phase to study both the future demonstration and piloting of hydrogen technology for end-use in the maritime sector.
Received from financial technology company Enova International, the supporting funds will allow the project team to work with the market and clarify the possibilities associated with developing a hydrogen hub in the region.
