Norway’s hydrogen sector has received a new to its hydrogen sector with the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) approving a NOK219m ($24m) Norwegian state aid to purchase two hydrogen vessels.
These ships have been developed under the Topeka Nattruten project, led by Wilhelmsen, with this agreement set to be an important milestone in the transition to a more environmentally friendly maritime sector.
