The Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre has reiterated the country’s commitment to developing the hydrogen value chain to complement plans to develop 30GW of offshore wind production by 2040.
The country holds significant potential for developing hydrogen production projects and contribute massively to the European hydrogen supply chain.
If fully scaled and developed, the Norwegian hydrogen ecosystem could be one of the richest in the world and thus could become a hotspot for the clean energy carrier.
