The Norwegian Government has today revealed a historic NOK 100m ($10.75m) investment in hydrogen infrastructure as part of the country’s 2021 budget.
“Hydrogen will make a major contribution to reducing emissions nationally and globally, and create value for Norwegian business and industry,” said Norway’s Energy Minister Tina Bru.
“This investment is historic and will help to produce many exciting hydrogen projects in the coming years.”
Norway allocated NOK 120m ($12.9m) to innovation projects where hydrogen has a central place in Spring 2020.
