Nikola’s hydrogen-powered Nikola Tre and Nikola Two vehicles will feature fuel cell innovations developed by Bosch.
The two companies today (September 2) inked an agreement for the plans that will see Bosch supply both fuel cell power modules and other major components to Nikola.
It is believed that the supplied technologies will be developed at Nikola’s Coolidge, Arizona facility where the company is currently working to develop the zero-emissions vehicles.
Expected to launch in 2023, the first application for the fuel cell modules is expected to be in the Class 8 regional Nikola Tre which is expected to have a range of 500 miles.
