Nikola Corporation subsidiary Nikola Energy is collaborating with TravelCenters of America (TA-Petro) to install hydrogen stations for heavy-duty trucks at two existing TA-Petro sites in California, US.
Touted as the first step for the two entities to mutually develop a nationwide network of hydrogen fuelling stations, the two stations are expected to be commercially operational by the first quarter of 2023.
These stations are expected to accelerate adoption of hydrogen fuel cell-powered commercial trucks.
