US zero-emission truck manufacturer Nikola expects to deliver three times more hydrogen fuel cell trucks than its battery-electric alternative in 2024.
Addressing investors on Thursday (February 22), Steve Girsky, CEO, said the company was guiding to deliver 300-350 hydrogen-powered trucks this year, compared to an expected 100 battery-electric vehicles.
Having posted its 2023 results, Nikola built 42 hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks, reserving seven for testing and demonstrations, with the remaining 35 being wholesaled, seeing its 2023 truck revenue reach $10.4m.
