Large-scale electrolysers are a key technological element of the hydrogen economy, but many challenges regarding their development and deployment are still ahead.
Over the next two days (8th – 9th December), the online technical conference Next Generation Electrolysers will discuss a selection of important issues and create a platform for experts from the technical, commercial and academic field.
The conference will start with a discussion of the utility perspective. Oliver Weinmann from Vattenfall Innovation Europe will share his views on business opportunities and challenges, as well as requirements for electrolysers from the perspective of one of Europe’s largest power companies.
How does the EU support the development of electrolysers, and what are the latest achievements? Nikos Lymperopoulos from the FCH JU will provide an overview in his talk and share some insights on the latest demonstrations.
