NewHydrogen sees positive results in its unique project aiming to reduce the cost of green hydrogen

NewHydrogen has today (Oct 12) provided an update on its research program that is paving the way forward for a reduction in the cost of producing green hydrogen – the cleanest variant.

NewHydrogen is looking to replace iridium in proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers with a more stable, non-precious, metal-based oxygen evolution reaction catalyst (OER).

This makes the overall electrolysis process significantly cheaper.
