Fabrum and King Watercraft have collaborated to design a hydrogen-powered rigid inflatable boat (RIB), suitable for tourism, commercial and leisure activities.
Set to begin sea trials in 2025, the H2Ocean boat can reportedly be “adapted to suit the environment and operations of the end user.”
The boat features 18kg of 350 bar hydrogen gas, which is supplied to a fuel cell and maintains charging to a battery bank that is used to power the two electric stern legs.
