Heriot Watt University has been awarded £20m ($28.2m) as part of a wider £166.5m ($234.5m) UK Government cash injection to construct a research unit to study decarbonisation technology – including hydrogen.
The new state-of-the-art facility will research several green technologies that supports the government’s 10-point plan for a green revolution.
This includes hydrogen, decarbonisation infrastructure, carbon capture, usage and storage.
