Municipal housing provider Vätterhem is planning to construct a 100% off-grid, self-sufficient apartment building that will feature hydrogen fuel cell technologies.
Located in Jönköping, Sweden, project leader Vätterhem will work with a range of companies to make the building come to life.
Already, the company has been working with Yellon Environmental Aesthetic Housing (YEAH) to develop the concept.
Thorbjörn Hammerth, CEO of Vätterhem, explains, “The development of good housing with a smaller climate footprint and improved economy has to begin somewhere.”
