Spain’s Acciona today (2nd Feb) said it has developed a platform based on blockchain technology that guarantees the renewable origin of green hydrogen.
GreenH2chain®,, which Acciona says is a world first, will also allow clients to verify the transportation and delivery process of this type of clean energy.
With the new tool, Acciona said its customers will be given access to a digital platform that will allow them to verify and visualise the entire green hydrogen value chain in real time and from anywhere in the world.
This technological solution will allow renewable hydrogen consumers to quantify, record and monitor the decarbonisation process of their own energy supply.
