With hydrogen highlighted as having significant potential in decarbonising the aviation sector, SNC-Lavalin and the UK’s Electric Aviation group (EAG) have partnered to develop innovative sustainable aviation technologies using hydrogen.
It is hoped that through the collaboration that a zero-emission regional aircraft fuelled by a hybrid hydrogen-electric technology can be developed and launched in 2030, the company said today (Dec 1).
