A new 300MW offshore wind farm in Levante Almeriense, Spain, will provide renewable energy to support local projects, including a green hydrogen plant promoted by Caldererías Indálicas.
This plant will be developed in two phases, the first will produce 20 tonnes of green hydrogen per day and could cover part of the energy demand from the offshore wind farm.
In return, Mar de Ágata would take advantage of the technical capabilities and facilities of Caldererías Indálicas to manufacture locally part of the floating structures.
Likewise, it would trigger the upscaling and capacity-building of the local contractors to support the construction as well as operation and maintenance of the assets.
