New hydrogen station planned for Hamburg Airport

H2 Mobility Deutschland will build a hydrogen refuelling station at Hamburg Airport.

The station will be integrated into a Shell station and the technology will be provided by French multinational company Air Liquide.

The new station is supported by the National Innovation Programme Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP) of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.

There are currently 74 hydrogen stations in operation in Germany, with a further 29 planned, as the country moves closer to its goal of 100 stations before the end of the year.
