Plans have been unveiled for a hydrogen liquefaction plant that will produce five tonnes of hydrogen per day to supply stations in South Korea.
Expected to start production in 2023, the new plant is part of the country’s strategy to remain a global leader in the development of hydrogen as clean energy.
Burckhardt Compression said it has been selected to supply the compressors for the compression of hydrogen within the liquefaction process.
The company will supply two fully skidded compressor packages with 136kW and 1800kW power output.
