Plans for the first German pipeline that will transport one million tonnes of green hydrogen from the North Sea directly to the European continent from 2035 onwards have moved forward.
Shell, Gasunie, RWE and Gascade today (26th April) said they have signed a declaration of intent for the AquaDuctus project.
Once the construction of the generation plants is fully completed, AquaDuctus will make a substantial contribution towards the decarbonisation aims of the German and European energy strategies
