New Fortress Energy has invested in H2Pro, an Israel-based green hydrogen production technology company.
As part of its investment, the global energy infrastructure company’s renewable hydrogen-focused division, Zero, will collaborate with H2Pro to demonstrate its technology in Israel in 2022 and develop a commercial pilot project in the US in 2023.
The company’s Zero division will also help to support other demonstration products and commercialise H2Pro’s technologies.
Wes Eden, CEO and Chairman of New Fortress, said, “We’re excited to partner with H2Pro and invest in a promising technology that can reduce green hydrogen production costs dramatically.”
